Barbara S. Uehling Book Scholarship

The Professional Women’s Association is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Barbara S. Uehling Book Scholarship.

Five scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $200 (in the form of gift cards to the UCSB Bookstore).

Completed applications must be received no later than 4pm on Thursday, March 14th. Send  a digital copy to Kelly Erland (Kelly.Erland@sa.ucsb.edu), or drop off a hard copy at the Office of Admissions, 1210 Cheadle Hall Attention Kelly Erland.

Community Financial Fund Grant


The Community Financial Fund is now offering grants up to $400 per student per fiscal year (defined as being from July 1st – June 30th) for the entire undergraduate campus! Awards are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pick up your checklist at the A.S. Ticket and Cashiers’ Office today (located outside the MCC across from Corwin Pavilion)! Grant awards are not guaranteed and depend on Financial Aid status. You will be notified within 5  days of application receipt whether or not you are receiving the grant.  Scholarships

ARRL Foundation Scholarships are open to students pursuing a college degree at a two-year or four-year institution who are active licensed amateur radio operators. Seventy different scholarships are available.

Associated Students Emergency Loans

A.S. issues interest-free emergency loans which are  processed through the A.S. Cashiers Office and applied to the University BARC account, to registered undergraduate students.

Graduate Student Association Childcare Grant

This fund is available to graduate students who have dependents and who are in the process of preparing for their comprehensive exams, area exams, dissertation proposals, or dissertation defense.

Graduate Student Association Graduate Student Emergency Relief Fund 

This fund is available for registered UCSB graduate students experiencing temporary and acute financial hardship.

 Associated Students Childcare Grant

Associated Students has grants for students who need extra childcare coverage during midterms and finals

Education Opportunity Program Grants

EOP offers grants for specific needs for EOP students.  Contact your EOP Advisor for more information.
