Cafe Picasso: Café Picasso is a food pantry and safe space for University students that opened in early January of this year. In addition to providing weekly dinners, the Café offers students a space to reflect and de-stress from the many obstacles they face. At UCSB, many students must defer enrollment in the University and enroll at Santa Barbara City College to save enough money for a quarter’s tuition at UCSB. Due to their deferred enrollment from UCSB, these students are ineligible for the services provided by the on campus AS Food Bank.
